Seven FAMU Law Students Selected for George C. Young American Inn of Court Memebership

ORLANDO, Fla –Seven Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law third-year students have been accepted as members of the George C. Young American Inn of Court.
“Our students appreciate the opportunity to become members of the prestigious Inn of Court,” said FAMU Law Interim Director of Legal Research and Writing Priscilla Harris. “They are making meaningful connections with some of the best legal minds in the area.”

According to its website, the American Inns of Court is an organization that brings local attorneys, judges, and law students together to meet once a month between September and June to discuss relevant topics concentrating on promoting the highest ethics and a fraternal sense among the legal community.
The George C. Young American Inn of Court is an invitation only organization for attorneys in the local legal community along with judges and magistrates from local Florida and Federal Courts. The membership consists of attorneys that have been invited to become members with experience ranging from first-year attorneys up to senior members of the bar.
The George C. Young American Inn of Court has a yearly membership of approximately 120 to 130 members.
