FAMU Law's Briana Napoleon Receives Prestigious Holland & Knight Scholarship

ORLANDO, Fla – Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law rising second-year student Briana Napoleon is the 2024 recipient of the prestigious Holland & Knight Scholarship and Internship. As the Holland & Knight Scholar, Napoleon will receive full in-state tuition and a summer associate position at the law firm’s Jacksonville office.  

The Miami, Florida native says she is passionate about making a meaningful impact in advocating for underrepresented communities. Napoleon is attracted to large law firms that are recognized as leaders in the legal profession and have a demonstrated commitment to pro bono work and service. 

“This prestigious opportunity represents a culmination of my dedication to the legal profession and my commitment to excellence,” said Napoleon. “I am eager to leverage this scholarship and internship experience to further my academic pursuits and contribute meaningfully to the continued success of Holland & Knight’s mission.” 

According to the firm’s website, the Holland & Knight Summer Associate Program is an opportunity for a select number of law students from across the nation to gain real-world law firm experience by working with experienced lawyers on complex matters for their clients.  

Since 2008, Holland & Knight has annually awarded a scholarship to a first-year law student from the FAMU College of Law in addition to providing an opportunity to participate in the summer associate program.
