FAMU Law Classic Tailgate Features Office Dedicationfor the Late Dr. Frederick S. Humphries and Check Presentation from Attorney Ben Crump

ORLANDO, Fla – On Saturday, November 19, Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law is hosting the annual Classic Tailgate. This is an event for alumni, students, faculty, staff, family and friends to enjoy music, great food and fun before the Florida Classic game between FAMU and Bethune Cookman University.
FAMU Law Dean Deidré Keller is scheduled to dedicate an office to the late Dr. Frederick S. Humphries at 11 a.m. Dr. Humphries was a former FAMU president. He passed away in 2021.
At 12:30 p.m. attorney Ben Crump is scheduled to present a $50,000 donation to support the Arthenia L. Joyner Endowed Scholarship.
There is also a special plaque presentation to the Class of 2011 for winning the 20thAnniversary Class Challenge by donating the most money toward the $25,000 goal.
The Classic Tailgate is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 201 FAMU Law Lane in Orlando.
