Employers Utilizing CPPD Services

 

On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program

Legal employers are invited on campus to interview students for positions as law clerks, interns, summer associates, first- year associates, volunteers and more. 

To utilize the CPPD services and to participate in the On-Campus Interview Program, employers must adhere to the Florida A&M University College of Law Non-Discrimination Policy.

Each fall, legal employers visit the College of Law to interview second and third- year law students for summer clerkships and permanent employment with private firms, public interest organizations, and government agencies.

The CPPD also host a number of legal employers each spring for first-year on-campus recruiting.

Employers are welcome to post jobs with the College of Law to ful ll their hiring needs by completing and submitting the form below. Employers may also create an account in 12Twenty, our online career management system to post jobs. To register for a free account, use the link:  https://law-famu.12twenty.com/hire.

Please note that the College of Law does not post unpaid positions in for-profit law firms. The College of Law will also not post opportunities for law students within business, for private persons, or other organizations, where the entity wants the law student to provide legal advice without supervision of a licensed attorney (who also is in good standing with a state bar). Law firms participating on our job board or on-campus recruitment opportunities must have at least one lawyer who is licensed and in good standing with a state bar.

A limited exception exists for military recruiters and federal agencies, but only to the extent that their employment and hiring practices are permitted under federal law.”
