Policy On Outside Employment

The American Bar Association’s Standard 304 states “[a] student may not be employed more than twenty (20) hours per week in any week in which the student is enrolled in more than twelve (12) class hours.”The College of Law discourages all outside employment by first-year, Full-Time Day Program students.A Part-Time Evening Program student’s hours of employment are not regulated. Thus, a part-time student who is enrolled for fewer than twelve (12) credit hours may be employed for more than (20) hours per week.Please sign below to acknowledge your receipt of the College of Law’s policy on Outside Employment.By signing this form, you certify that you intend to comply with the terms of the policy during the academic period indicated.
