Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights

Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (AIRR) is dedicated to engaging with the immigrant community, networking with professionals and organizations from other law schools active in immigration law, as well as informing students about relevant immigration issues and the importance of advocacy.

The objectives of the organization are to:

  • Articulate and promote the goals and objectives of AIRR Students. 
  • Foster and encourage academic and professional excellence among AIRR Students.
  • Promote a greater awareness of and commitment to the civil and political rights of the immigrant community.
  • Increase the enrollment of AIRR students.
  • Promote the general welfare of immigrants in Florida.
  • Uphold the honor and integrity of the legal profession among AIRR Law Students.
  • Create networking/mentoring opportunities for Law Students interested in immigration law and the immigrant community.
