ORLANDO, Fla – A special episode of Legal Connections dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic is currently airing on Orange TV. Legal Connections is Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law’s legal program.
Legal Connections is hosted by lawyer and FAMU Law alumna Kimra Major-Morris, who conducts a one-on-one interview with FAMU Law Professor of Law LeRoy Pernell. Interim Dean Nicky Boothe Perry provides an update to the community on the law school’s response to COVID-19. The special also features a news segment from the Black News Channel about FAMU’s testing site in Tallahassee. This segment includes an interview with FAMU President Larry Robinson, Ph.D.
The discussion includes the impact of COVID-19 on society, nursing home deaths, liabilities, liability immunity, COVID-19 testing and tracking, protests around the nation, mental health issues, and more.
