As you make this important decision, we hope you’ll visit our campus in Orlando, meet our students, faculty and staff and learn more about what we think is one the best providers of legal education in the country.

The Florida A&M University College of Law offers a rigorous traditional curriculum that is complemented by extensive skills training which includes an intensive three-year writing program and a strong vibrant clinical program. The College of Law’s curriculum is designed to provide students with both the intellectual and practical skills necessary to meet the demands of the modern practice of law by combining theoretical coursework with clinical and practical experiences. Through the use of elective courses and leading practitioners as adjunct faculty, students are introduced to emerging trends and developments in the law.

As you may know, Florida A&M University College of Law is a recently re-established law school. Since becoming fully accredited with the American Bar Association in July 2009, the law school has exceeded expectation in our goal to build a legacy of academic excellence and legal advocacy. We encourage you to review our website, meet with current students, and talk with members of the legal community. This is an extremely exciting time in the life of the law school—our future is bright.  As the College of Law community strives towards excellence, we are searching for bright, talented students who can excel with us.  We hope that you will join us in the inevitable exciting, prosperous times to come.  Our entire family (faculty, staff/administration, alumni, current and future students) has a vital role in the future success of the law school.

Best wishes in your law school search.
