Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law third-year law student Katia Wilson personifies productivity at the College of Law. Wilson, a triple Rattler, having earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from FAMU prior to enrolling at the College of Law, serves as the Student Bar Association president. As SBA president, Wilson routinely represents the law school at national events and in the public.

The student leader puts FAMU’s Motto “Excellence with Caring” into action through programs like Law Day, where local middle school students experienced a typical law student’s day at FAMU College of Law, and the Spreading the Dream program, which commemorated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and taught thousands of central Florida students about civil rights cases in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
