FAMU COL’s curriculum is unique as we aim to provide our students with a substantive background in international law as well as regional expertise with an emphasis on the developing world, particularly Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Latin America. In the 2009-2010 academic year, we will introduce additional courses in the areas of international trade, human rights, transitional justice, and terrorism, and regional courses focusing on Asia, the Caribbean, Middle East and Latin America.

Any student that intends to seek an independent study research project for credit towards the Certificate in International Human Rights Law and Global Studies at FAMU COL, must complete this application and receive approval from the Associate Dean for International Programs.
