Joan BullockJoan Bullock - Moderator
Dean Bullock has over 20 years experience in law teaching.  Relevant courses taught include Professional Responsibility, Law Office Management, and Accounting for Lawyers.   She is also a CPA and attorney licensed in the State of Michigan who has practiced before the United States Tax Court and has assisted many start-up enterprises, including law firms, with legal, accounting, tax, and general business expertise.  Dean Bullock has developed an expertise in law firm management and particularly in the area of the impact of management and performance measures on a firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts.  She currently serves as Chair of the ABA Law Practice Management Section.


Benjamin CarpenterBenjamin Carpenter
A Family Law attorney with a unique approach to the practice of law and an advocate for the online delivery of legal services, Benjamin Carpenter has a passion for technology and a dedication to pro bono service initiatives.While serving as Managing Partner of Carpenter Law P.A., Benjamin founded, Inc., a non-profit, web based legal service assistance program. He serves as Chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service, member of the ABA Law Practice Management Section Member Development Committee, Technology Section Chairman at Osceola County Bar Association, and board member on the Prepaid Legal Services Committee at the Florida Bar.Benjamin earned his law degree from Dwayne O. Adriana Linares is a legal technology trainer and consultant with a passion for the business and technology of law. Prior to launching LawTech Partners, she spent several years creating and managing the in-house training departments of two of Florida’s largest law firms. Using her practical and personal approach to technology she helps legal professionals maximize their skills and investments through training sessions delivered via the web or in person. Adriana currently serves as a technology consultant to the Florida Bar and as the Chair of the Research & Technology Subcommittee of the Law Practice Management Section of the ABA. Tom Mighell is a Senior Consultant with Contoural, Inc., where he helps companies deal with information governance, eDiscovery and litigation readiness issues.  Prior to becoming a consultant Tom was a trial lawyer for 18 years with a firm in Dallas, Texas.  Tom is the author of iPad in One Hour for Lawyers, iPad Apps in One Hour for Lawyers, and the soon-to-be-released iPad in One Hour for Litigators.  He published the legal technology blogs Inter Alia ( and iPad 4 Lawyers (, and is the co-host of The Kennedy-Mighell Report, a legal technology podcast on the LTRC Podcast Network (  Tom served on the ABA TECHSHOW Board for four years, as Chair of ABA TECHSHOW 2008, and served as Chair of the ABA Law Practice Management Section in 2011-2012.  Tom received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.

Todd Smith Law Firm which specializes in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury law, including wrongful death cases, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and first party insurance disputes. The firm’s mission is to help people in need by advocating for the injured and to serve our community by supporting and volunteering for numerous local charities.Todd grew up in the Apopka area and graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in 1994. Todd is a member of the Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, Orange County Bar Association, and a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer for the Orlando Legal Aid Society. Todd is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Orlando–Winter Park, a past chair of the Florida Kiwanis Social Media committee, and is currently serving as a Lieutenant Governor for Florida Kiwanis.Todd serves as the chair of the Technology Committee of the Orange County Bar Association and advocates for its members to use technology to better serve their clients and the public. Todd has conducted workshops and presentations in the areas of law office management, social media, mobile technology, and other law related topics.


StuparichNancy Stuparich
Nancy Stuparich is the Risk Manager at Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company, Oviedo, Florida ("FLMIC"). FLMIC was created by The Florida Bar in the late 1980s to provide a perpetual source of professional liability insurance to Florida attorneys. FLMIC and is now a mutual company wholly owned by its insureds who are Florida attorneys. Ms. Stuparich has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida for over 25 years and has provided legal counsel to both public and private entities as well as to individuals. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and participating in sporting events.
