Michael Pillow Professor Pillow teaches Contract Drafting, Sales and Civil Procedure.  He joined FAMU College of Law as an Adjunct Professor in August 2010.  He has also taught Global Corporate Compliance at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and Business Law at Seminole State College as an adjunct.  From 1987 to 2004, he served as Assistant General Counsel in the legal department for Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Siemens AG, which acquired the Westinghouse power generation business in 1998.  From 2004 to 2008, he served as the Director of Contract Management and Division Compliance Officer.  During his career, he handled diverse assignments such as contract drafting and negotiation; international business transactions; dispute resolution; joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures; and corporate governance and compliance.  He also worked as a Senior Sales & Marketing Manager for Mitsubishi Power Systems in Orlando from 2010 to 2011.  During his early career, he practiced in Pittsburgh, focusing on litigation, with the law firms Swensen & Perer and Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott. He has published several articles, primarily relating to commercial law and wrote a novel, Neighbors, published in 2009.  Professor Pillow received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School.
