Circulation Policy

Students can check most materials in the library, except microforms, reporters, and statutes. If it is the first time you have checked out library materials, please bring your Rattler Card so we can input you into the system.  Attorneys should contact Achara Stone, for clarification on policies concerning the members of the bar.

Reserve Policy

Students can check items out on reserve for a two hour period.  Please see Achara Stone  for clarification on policies concerning reserve materials.

ILL (Inter-library Loan) Procedures

Faculty, students, and staff may use ILL to borrow books not owned by the College of Law, or to obtain copies of articles in publications not owned by or accessible to the College of Law.

Borrowers should contact Achara Stone, Circulation Librarian or Phyllis Allen, Library Technical Assistant Supervisor

In-person (at the circulation or reference desk); or

By phone, at 407-254-3258 or 407-254-3261

If you cannot reach either Ms. Stone or Ms. Allen ask another Public Services Librarian for assistance.

Normally we can obtain materials from other libraries in 1 to 2 weeks.  We might be able to obtain articles faster, if the article is short enough to be faxed and the providing library decides to fax it.  Ms. Stone or Ms. Allen will contact you when the material arrives.
