Metro Orlando

Orlando, a racially and culturally diverse community, is considered not only one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in Florida, but also one of the fastest growing major employment markets in the nation. The Orlando area is projected to be a leader in employment growth through the year 2010. Orlando offers affordable housing, a great climate with mild weather year-round, a reliable public transportation system, and easy access to recreational and cultural activities. Central Florida is home to world-renowned attractions, performing arts and theatre companies, a number of fine art galleries, historical museums, a science center, and universities and colleges that contribute to a well-rounded cultural experience. Metro Orlando is home to more than 1.4 million people as well as many popular tourist attractions, including WALT DISNEY WORLD® Magic Kingdom, Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and Sea World of Orlando. Orlando is also home of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, the Arena Football League’s Orlando Predators, and the annual Florida Citrus Bowl.

Downtown Orlando

Downtown Orlando is an ideal setting for the law school and its students. The downtown area is home to the area’s largest law firms, government offices as well as the county courthouse and the new federal courthouse that faces Interstate-4 with towers adding to the continually increasing downtown skyline. All are located just a few blocks from the law school’s campus. In addition, downtown Orlando has recently been revitalized with residential and commercial development, including apartments, condominiums, restaurants and entertainment venues, making it a vibrant place to live, work and study.
