Shiv Narayan Persaud served as a state agency attorney, a public defender, an assistant state attorney and a sole practitioner before joining FAMU’s faculty of law. While serving as a state agency attorney, he assisted in the reconstruction of the State’s firefighter certification examination and streamlined real estate license law prosecutions. As a visiting professor and adjunct professor, he has taught courses on evidence, administrative law, trial practice and criminal law.
