Alumni Spotlight: Lynda Murray-Blair
Lynda Murray BlairLynda Murray-Blair is Diversity & Inclusion Manager for Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, an international law firm of over 600 attorneys. She works closely with the firm’s Diversity Partners, Diversity Council, Women’s Initiative and various firm committees to provide insights on developments in Diversity & Inclusion and helps drive the firm’s strategy for Diversity & Inclusion. During Lynda’s time at Kilpatrick Townsend, the firm has been named one of the top 100 Law Firms for Diversity, and is in the top 50% of firms listed on the AmLaw 100 Diversity Scorecard.
Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Lynda was Manager of Talent Sustainability & Inclusion for Quaker/Tropicana/Gatorade – a division of PepsiCo. She was awarded the PepsiCo Harvey Russell Inclusion Award in 2006 and 2008 for her PepsiCo’s 1st Global Multicultural Inclusion Summit.
Lynda received her BS from Tuskegee University and also holds an MBA in Finance and a Certificate in African American Leadership from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. She earned her JD from Florida A & M University College of Law in 2007.
Lynda is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Programs Steering Committee, National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), the National Association of Legal Professionals (NALP), Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals, and the Florida A&M College of Law Alumni Council.
Lynda is married to Marlow L. Blair. Lynda and Marlow have two sons, Johnathan (FAMU – 2015) and Reed (Brown University – 2015). Lynda is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and a life member of Jack and Jill of America.
